Summit crucifix
7. A crucifix on the very top of the Alp (there are no atheists on mountaintops!)
trail signs
8. These signs point the way all over Alpine trails, even to train stations.
Weesen
9. Weesen, a great place to stay near Nafels. The mountains in the distance are the Churfirsten, a series of 2000+ meter (7000+ foot) notches.
Wiggis
10. Vrenelisgartli, another great climb near Rautispitz (on the right), with year-round snow. Vrenelisgartli is more technical than Rautispitz, involving a glacier trek and a difficult traverse. The top is around 10,000 feet. Just a climb to the Swiss Alpine Club hut beneath the glacier is a lot of fun, however.
